Jakarta 2010 - Day 2 (part 2)

After the church ceremony....Everyone was so exhausted.....!!!! Everyone requested to return to the hotel for a nap before the night ceremony.....Lunch was provided in a box....( you know the packaging like the full moon baby, its like that!!!) Knowing my tummy, that was not enough for me, but i was too tired. So i went back to the hotel to take a nap.

With one hour nap, i woke up in search of food!!!! I WANT MY FOOD!!!!! I ask my friend whether is she interested to eat as well....As we exit our room, i told her. NO MORE HOTEL FOOD!!! I wanted to try the local dishes coz i know i wont have much time in Indonesia. So, as we exit the hotel, there's one food stall.

I totally forgotten about my camera so i had to use my phone camera.... I wanted soup and my friend wanted anything but beef...Unfortunately everything they serve is mostly beef.....

Its pretty obvious that we are tourist coz we were not clear on the menu...i ask what is sapi??? Sapi is beef, miss.....ok...to heck with beef...i just ordered.....

I ordered Soto Daging Sapi.

My friend ordered Mie Pedas Gila..... I wonder how pedas it would be...ehheheheh!!!!

It was spicy... but everything was beef...poorthing....i had to finish her beef, whereas she just had plain noodle....You may be surprise that the noodle is covered with cheese topping with spicy and sweet flavour....

I was advise to purchase any bottle in Indonesia, ensure the bottles are seal with plastic. Just to play safe.

The food was great. We were satisfied, but we had to rush back to the hotel to get ready for the dinner ceremony....

I wont mind coming here again....:)

Jakarta 2010 - Day 2 (part 1)

Zzzzzzzzzz.......zzzz....zzzz.....zzzzz.....its only 7.30am and im not working....zzzz.....zzzz !!!! TODAY IS THE WEDDING!!! WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!!! i jump up from bed and had a quick wash...!!! QUICK!!! QUICK!!! Went to the banquet for a quick breakfast....

After breakfast, was waiting for the bride to arrive....

Since the wedding is held in Jakarta, the wedding ceremony will be different than Malaysia...

1) No playing Heng-Tais, for sure no ANG POW!!!! :(

2) Dinner at night will be serve in buffet style
3) Dressing with lots of bling-blings or big-big dresses

Once the groom met the bride, they headed to the groom's house....there's only one way from the hotel to the house....

The tea ceremony was like the Malaysian style of tea ceremony where the family accept the  In-Law officially in respect...typical chinese style...but just that in Jakarta, the bride only serves the tea....not both groom and bride.......:)

Aniways, after the ceremony...the next destination is the church!!!! The church is beautiful and HUGH!!!!!

Jakarta 2010 - Day 1

A very-very-very close friend is getting married, and the location will be held in.....JAKARTA!!! A trip on  a year end before christmas...:P. So, bought the tickets during the fare.

Finally, the day has come!!!!!Woke up early coz i couldn't sleep....as usual...too excited!!! YEAH!!!!! Arrived to the airport in the afternoon. My tummy was making so much noisy while on the way, so just had lunch in Oldtown White Coffee.

The trip is a 4 days 3 nights wedding trip...Before the trip, alot of my other friend was telling me how dangerous Jakarta is and how bad the riot was... i was so hesitated to go ...i was so worried i will DIE!!! ahahahahhahah...thanks so much for all the advise from my family and friends....(typical for them to ask me to be more take more precaution)

The departure flight from KL to Jakarta was 3pm and knowing our local low-cost aviation company... the flight has been delayed!!!! Well, i wish i could just speak to Mr T* to increase his capability to enhance the efficient of flight management ....aniways!!! I was just considering,,,,:)

While i was reading the booklet on the plane, i saw a cute picture....

AT LAST!!!!!  i arrived safely in jakarta....it was raining heavily....Thank so much to our coming-bride....she had arranged all the transportation and accommodation ......THANK BEAN BEAN!!! ehehhehehe muakz...!!! 

I tell you...people in jakarta never stops while driving...they drive freaking near and hone all the TIME!!!! Worst than KL....I tot KL was bad, i think i was wrong!!!! The driver drove us to the Groom's house to meet up with the bride...and OMG, i was shock with FOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!! Most of all, the food has been cook by the MIL (Mother-In-Law)...by looking at the amount of food....speechless!!!

After such a great dinner/supper, the bride request for a last-minutes detour to the shopping mall... Emporium Sogo!!! the place is like Pavilion in KL... but the price is cheap....Could you get RM22 for decent hair wash/blow and mani in KL????? .... i think no.... Only in JAKARTA!!!! ahahahhah...

Most of all, i'm a MILLIONAIRE here....ehehehehehehh :P
